FDE Masters delivers forward deployed engineer training online as live, instructor-led classes on video, with shared AWS labs, a weekly Customer Engagement Lab and the same real 2-week forward deployment as our Hyderabad classroom. You attend the same sessions as classroom learners, in the same cohort, taught by the same trainer.
Nothing is a pre-recorded video course. You ask questions live, pair on labs, run discovery calls with trainers role-playing Deccan Finance stakeholders, and demo your work to the employer council on demo day over video. Recordings are available within hours for revision or genuine absences.

Career Program: Monday to Friday, 2 hours a day. Advanced Program: three weekday evenings plus Saturday. Camera on, questions welcome, breakout rooms for pair work.

Lab work in shared cloud environments
Each learner gets an AWS sandbox, Postgres with pgvector, Claude and OpenAI API access and ServiceNow and Salesforce developer sandboxes. No local setup fights.

Run a discovery call, present a status note or demo to a trainer playing a Deccan Finance stakeholder, and receive recorded feedback the same day.

Should you choose online or classroom?
Choose the classroom batch if you live within commuting distance of our campus near JNTU Metro in Kukatpally and you learn better with people physically around you. The in-room Customer Engagement Lab is slightly more intense because body language is part of the feedback.
Choose live online if you are in Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, elsewhere in India or abroad, or if you are working and cannot commute. You lose nothing in curriculum or outcomes, and the fee is ₹10,000 lower on the Career Program and ₹5,000 lower on Advanced.

Is the forward deployed engineer training online live or recorded?
Live. Every session is taught in real time on video by the same trainer who teaches the Hyderabad classroom batch, with online and classroom learners in one cohort. Recordings are published within hours for revision and for genuine absences, but the program is not a self-paced video course. Labs, discovery calls and demos all happen live.
What is the fee for the online FDE course?
The FDE Career Program costs ₹45,000 online, compared with ₹55,000 in the classroom. The FDE Advanced Program costs ₹30,000 online, compared with ₹35,000 in the classroom. EMI options are available for both. The fee includes cloud labs, API credits, recordings, projects, the live practicum, the certificate and placement support.
Can I join the online FDE course from Bangalore, Chennai or Pune?
Yes. Sessions run in Indian Standard Time, so learners in Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi and other Indian cities join directly. Placement support covers roles in these cities too; Bengaluru alone accounts for roughly half of India's FDE hiring according to CIEL HR, and our employer council includes Bengaluru-based companies such as Sarvam AI and Cartesia.
Can NRIs take the forward deployed engineer course online?
Yes. Learners in the Gulf, Singapore and Malaysia find the IST schedule a direct or close fit. UK and Europe learners manage with a flexible job plus recordings. US and Canada learners should speak with us before enrolling, because live sessions fall late at night or early morning; recordings and office hours help but the Customer Engagement Lab needs live participation.
What equipment and internet do I need?
A laptop with at least 8 GB RAM, a webcam and microphone, and a stable connection of 10 Mbps or better. All heavy work runs in provided AWS sandboxes and managed Postgres, so you do not need a powerful machine or local GPU. We send a Week 0 setup guide and hold a setup session before the batch starts.
Is the online certificate different from the classroom certificate?
No. Online and classroom learners receive the same FDE Masters Certified Forward Deployed Engineer certificate, Associate for the Career Program or Professional for the Advanced Program, with the same verification ID. There is no 'online' marking because the assessments, projects, eval gates, security review and live practicum are identical.
How does the live practicum work remotely?
For two weeks you work remotely with a Brolly Group business unit or a Digital Brolly SME client as your customer. You get Git access, a daily stand-up, stakeholder calls and a trainer check-in, then present on demo day over video. Several host units already operate with remote engineers, so the engagement reflects how most FDE customer work is done.
