What does 'FDE course with placement' mean at FDE Masters?
An FDE course with placement support at FDE Masters means a structured process: a portfolio built on real deployments, interview preparation for every round, direct introductions through our employer council, and assistance that continues until Career Program graduates are placed. It does not mean a guarantee. No honest institute controls an employer's hiring decision.
We say this plainly because the forward deployed engineer (FDE) market is real but selective. CIEL HR counted 52 organisations hiring FDEs in India in July 2026, up 130 percent year on year, with Hyderabad in the top three cities. Bloomberry found 60 percent of postings want 3 to 5 years of experience. Freshers get hired, but on evidence of deployment, not certificates.
That is why both the Career Program and the Advanced Program end with a real 2-week forward deployment and a published case study. The placement process below starts from that evidence.

Week 1: Target-role plan
In your first week we agree a realistic target: role type, city, band and timeline, based on your experience. This plan is revisited at Week 8 and before demo day.

Portfolio built from real work
Four graded Deccan Finance projects (three on Advanced), a live 2-week practicum and a written case study. Each is reviewed to the standard a hiring manager expects.

Resume, GitHub and LinkedIn review
Two rounds of review against actual FDE job descriptions from Anthropic, Sarvam AI and IT-services FDE practices, so your profile uses the language recruiters search for.

Interview preparation
Mock rounds for live coding, system design for RAG and agents, a customer discovery role-play, and a 10-minute case-study presentation. Our FDE interview questions guide is the study list.

Demo day with the employer council
You present your practicum to employer council members and hiring managers, who can request interviews directly from this session.

Hyderabad FDE practices
Turing, Sutherland and Pulsora run forward-deployed and AI delivery teams in Hyderabad. EPAM's Hyderabad academy is part of a plan for more than 3,000 India hires in 2026.
IT services building FDE units
TCS has set a target of 5,900 to 8,900 forward-deployed AI engineers. Accenture uses the FDE title and launched a ServiceNow FDE program in May 2026. Coforge runs the Momentuum AI FDE unit.
AI-native companies in Bengaluru
Sarvam AI hires on 1 to 3, 2 to 5 and 4+ year tracks. Cartesia advertises a ₹70 to 90 L band for senior FDEs. Both are Advanced Program targets.

How long does placement take after the course?
It varies with experience, target band and market conditions. The placement process starts in Week 1 with a target-role plan and intensifies from demo day. What interview preparation is included?
Mock rounds for live coding in Python, system design for RAG and agent architectures, a customer discovery role-play with a trainer acting as a sceptical stakeholder, and a 10-minute case-study presentation. We also cover salary negotiation and offer evaluation. Preparation is tailored to the companies you interview with, using their actual job descriptions and recent interview patterns.
Is FDE Masters the best institute for FDE placement in Hyderabad?

Do online learners get the same placement support?
Yes. Target-role planning, portfolio reviews, mock interviews, demo day and employer council introductions all happen over video for online learners. Roles in Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai and remote are in scope alongside Hyderabad. Bengaluru accounts for roughly half of India's FDE hiring according to CIEL HR, so online learners there are well placed geographically.
